Tikkun Shavuot

Tikkun Shavuot - Study - of Shavuot Reformation

The origin of the Shavuot Reformation (Tikkun Shavuot)  is in Zohar Emor.
Rabbi Shimon said:

"As the friends gathered on this night, night of Shavuot, let us come and prepare the jewels of the bride, so that tomorrow she will be bejeweled, and properly ready for the King. Happy is the portion of friends when the King will ask the Queen who prepared her jewels, illuminated her crowns and put on her adornments.”

In our study of Shavuot night we will ask:

What is the Bride preparation and who are the friends?

Why is Shavuot  not mentioned in the Torah as the day of giving the Torah?

And if there is no coercion in spirituality, why was the Torah imposed on Israel?

On this special night we will study to ask questions about ourselves,
and about the Holy Torah.

Listen to the words of the Rabbah about the meaning of Shavuot Reformation for us, these days.

Join us as we prepare for Shavuot, in light of Kabbalah, at Mishkan Hakavana
